We have arranged a project seminar in Bodø about the development of algae as a sustainable resource. At the research laboratory of NIBIO, we got the opportunity to taste different macroalgae and to admire how sea water is pumped up from 200 m and used in the lab. In this Newsletter you can also read more about the activities during the summer.

Titel: Bio4Metals, Bioreduktionsmedel för metallurgiska processer
Partner i projektet har varit Luleå tekniska universitet, Umeå universitet, Future Eco North Sweden AB, Bioendev AB, Processometri AB, BioFuel Region AB och Swerim. Projektet pågick under 2016-2019.
Swerim koordinerade projektet som finansierades av Europeiska regionala utvecklingsfonden, Region Norrbotten, Region Västerbotten och egna insatser från samverkanspartner. Den totala budgeten var på drygt 10 miljoner kronor, varav EU stod för hälften.
