Short about the project This Swedish-Finnish project will demonstrate innovative methods to produce valuable biochemicals and ingredients from logging residues. The methods will ensure that the chemicals are preserved at all stages up to a local industry where valuable biochemicals can be extraxted and become high-quality products.
We will develop methods to
- describe how the felling should be handled to preserve the chemicals
- produce the best needle mix
- chemically extract the chemicals
