This presentation will give an overview of ongoing and planned projects in the Vaasa-region. The aim is to show how methane works as a link between these projects, but also to highlight the difficulties in implementing new infrastructure outside the natural gas grid.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Speaker information[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Johan received his M.Sc. in environmental science from Gothenburg University and his B.Sc. in environmental engineering from the Swedish Polytechnic institution in Vaasa. Since 2008 he has been working with questions related to waste and sustainability in both Sweden and Finland. In 2012 he started working as a Development Engineer at Ab Stormossen Oy in Vaasa.
He now works with biogas related questions with a main focus on biogas upgrading and the use of bio-methane in the transport sector. In 2013 he took part in the EU-financed project Biogas Botnia creating a cross border roadmap for biogas development between Österbotten in Finland and Västerbotten, Västernorrland in Sweden.
